I request authority to make provision in 1904 Estimates for the following additional Staff required for the

Temporary prison:-

3 Warders at £96 to £144 by £12 annually.

4 Guards at $168 each.

1 Clerk and Interpreter at $360

12 Cooks at $96 each.

4 Coolies at $96 each.

I also request authority to provide for an

additional Principal Warder and to promote 4 Guards to 3rd. Class

Assistant Warders. This would show an increase la the Gaol

Estimates of $5,215.

The four.coolies include ricksha coolies for

the Assistant Superintendent.who will have to visit the Temporary

prison daily.
